Crowns
A crown is a type of restoration used to fix teeth that have been broken, weakened by decay or have a very large filling. The crown fits over the remaining part of the prepared tooth, making it strong and giving the same look and shape of your natural tooth.
They can be made from ceramic, or a combination of metal and ceramic. Ceramic crowns can produce near perfect aesthetic results that are indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Dental Bridges
A bridge is a fixed prosthesis that can be used to replace one or more missing teeth, restoring appearance and function. The teeth adjacent to the missing space are used as support to which the replacement tooth is attached. This ‘bridge’ is then cemented into position.
These are only appropriate in specific circumstances, which your dentist will discuss. Implants or a denture may be more appropriate for you.
