If you decide to have tooth whitening, your dentist will take impressions of your mouth to allow construction of custom-made trays. Once these are completed (usually a fortnight later) your dentist will demonstrate how to use the whitening gel to gradually whiten your teeth over approximately 14 applications of 2 hours or overnight.
We will always start with a consultation – examining your teeth to make sure they are a good candidate for teeth whitening. If you have veneers or crowns, it is important to note that these will not change colour.
