History of the practice
Birchwood Dental Practice was established in 1985 by Stuart Hampshire when it was situated on the first floor of the offices opposite the then Spectrum Arena. In 1987, Stuart Hampshire was joined by partner Martin Robson and soon after they moved to our purpose built premises in 1988.
Since the practice began, the team has focused on providing quality care on the affordable National Health Service system.
Sadly in June 2002, Stuart Hampshire passed away but the legacy of his kind and caring approach lives on through the practice he helped to build. Later in 2008, Dr Woodger became a partner and together with Dr Robson ran the practice until his retirement in 2014.Following Dr Robson stepping down we were pleased to welcome Dr Lambert as a partner.
In 2018, Dr Anestis Lefkopoulos and Dr Ioannis Ziounas took over the practice, introducing a variety of implant and cosmetic restorative treatments from white fillings to full mouth rehabilitation, using their knowledge and experience to offer their patients the smile they have always wanted.
